Hop Nuts Brewery Crafting a Brew Pub in the Arts District

A hop, skip or jump from hit cocktail lounge Velveteen Rabbit will be a new, locally founded, brew pub.

Hop Nuts Brewery from owner Kevin Holder is proposing to build a 3,500-square-foot lounge and brew pub and add a 475-square-foot patio out back.

Housed in a 6,800-square-foot former furniture store space, the site is close to the corner of Main Street and Charleston Boulevard. Hop Nuts Brewing has been crafting their custom batches of pale ales, cream ales and IPAs for pop up events around the city.

Planning permission is scheduled for a December review.
