New Fall Dishes at Comme Ça; Wine Week at Andrea's

COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS — Comme Ça has a seasonal menu that includes the pickle jar with a mix of the restaurant's in-house pickles, blue crab and avocado toast, farm egg in a jar with bacon grits and a poached egg, fried jidori chicken, cavatelli pasta with lamb Bolognese, bacon-wrapped pork chop, pan-roast dayboat sallops with brown butter bean, green curry steamed mussels and bouillabaisse. New a la carte options include deep-fried Brussels sprouts with lemon, creamless creamed corn, roasted heirloom carrots, Anson Mills cheddar grits and pommes aligot. Comme Ça's pastry chefs have created four new desserts such as warm strawberry hand pies, butterscotch pot de crème, devil's food cake with praline and milk chocolate ice cream and hand-made profiteroles. ENCORE LAS VEGAS — Wine Week 2013 comes to Andrea's Oct. 11-18 with a prix fixe menu and wine pairing. The $85 menu includes kumamot and ikura uni paired with Torresella Prosecco, bonito tataki with Rock Sake Junmai Gingo, scallops and pork belly with Domaine Wachau Federspiel Terrassen Gruner Veltliner, New York strip steak paired with Oberon Cabernet Sauvignon and dessert.
