New, 1 comment

Pho Little Saigon at 9210 S. Eastern Ave. was shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District after a re-inspection found 34 demerits on Oct. 3. The restaurant was last inspected March 5 and earned eight demerits.

SNHD inspectors found spoiled food, food unprotected from potential contamination during storage and preparation as well as from chemicals, employees and consumers and ineffective pest control measures.

The restaurant has a checkered past with SNHD, earning a shutdown with 56 demerits in August 2011 as well as a collection of B and C grades peppered with As.

The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
