While the huge ongoing construction at the front of New York-New York has attracted the most attention, over the past year the resort has been methodically, and quietly, sprucing up its dining options. Nine Fine Irishmen, America and Il Fornaio and its sister cafe have all undergone immediately visible upgrades.
Next on the agenda is Chin Chin, the pan-Asian casual restaurant and sushi bar. A publicly divulged $411,888 valuation for the project will include work on a raised seating area and installation of new seating booths. No timetable has yet been announced and the eatery is currently open for business.
Also to come, the long-rumored transformation of the Sporting House Bar & Grill into a new brewpub concept with open access to the Strip and a view of future neighbor, Shake Shack arriving in 2014.
