Buddy Valastro to Bring Carlo's Bakery to the Venetian

Kept under wraps since Cake Boss Buddy Valastro let slip to Eater Vegas back in September his plans to bring his famed Carlos Bakery to the Venetian, the cat is now out of the bag.

The TV star chef is set to officially announce Carlo's Bakery Las Vegas will debut this winter, bringing the now legendary menu of Italian pastries, cakes and sugary delights to a space directly across the hallway from his Buddy V's restaurant.

It will be the first Carlo's Bakery away from the East Coast and Valastro calls it a "natural fit" for the resort and the Strip." Buddy V's opened to much fanfare in October, serving a limited selection of sweet dishes that originated at the Hoboken, NJ flagship of his bakery empire.

Well hidden behind plywood, the 2,200-square-foot space will be the seventh Carlo's Bakery, including three under construction in New Jersey and Connecticut.
