While all the attention has focused on the multimillion dollar creation of the Chelsea event center and the Rose.Rabbit.Lie nightclub and restaurant readying to open in December, they don't comprise the only new upgrades at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Most visible, on the north side of the property is plywood covering an expansion of Bond lounge and bar. The space behind the deejay booth will push further out onto the casino floor, encroaching on an area previously occupied by slot machines.
Also in the cards, a second version of Va Bene Caffe, the Italian inspired coffee bar. The new 649-square-foot space has a publicly estimated $400,000 construction budget.
And an equally compact, 724-square-foot Autograph Lounge is on its way, overseen by the same contractors behind Andrea's at Wynn and Pub 1842 at the MGM Grand.
The resort recently shuttered their Pop-Up Wedding Chapel in the glass-walled, Strip-facing space that once housed the failed gamer lounge experiment, EA Sports Bar.
