Golden Corral to Miss Thanksgiving, Brings Holiday Cheer

Golden Corral will now officially open in December, missing their first Thanksgiving buffet in Las Vegas. The company's career Facebook page references the delay without committing to a specific date. The eastside project has been in the works since July 2012. However, a new hire has posted he was recently informed of a Dec. 12 debut for the 11,088-square-foot restaurant.

Golden Corral is actively hiring in the region for all positions and expects to ultimately employ 200 workers for the long-awaited venture.

Operating nearly 500 restaurants, in more than 40 states, the chain has long been rumored to be angling for a Las Vegas outpost, including frequent tales they had looked into available space on the Strip.
