A section of Le Cafe Ile Saint Louis at Paris Las Vegas is experiencing an upgrade. The Parisian-inspired coffee shop, noted for its large casino-facing patio, will receive a new coffee bar with room for more than 50 guests, a new service area and front entrance. Behind the plywood, the resort has allocated a publicly announced $100,000 construction budget.
Further on the horizon, work will begin a few yards away down Le Boulevard on Steve Martorano's next restaurant. Taking over the current Le Provençal space, the 255-seat Martorano's will include black and white decor and the requisite deejay booth. A proposed spring 2014 debut will feature a menu of South Philly cheesesteak, rigatoni Sunday pork gravy and his Martorano's signature meatballs.
