The Cronut craze is showing no signs of letting up. Now comes word that the combination donut and croissant has made an appearance at the Four Seasons Las Vegas.
Press now has a version dubbed the Kronut from pastry chef Jean-Luc Daul in cinnamon and chocolate flavors. The catch? They're only available on Thursdays through Sundays from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Get 'em while they're hot.
Now Cronuts have invaded every corner of the Las Vegas Valley. Lulu's Bread & Breakfast has its version called One of Those, Bread & Butter in Henderson has its own version, Botero has the Bonut, Pink Box Doughnuts goes ballsy and just calls them Cronuts and the new Coco Donuts has versions in chocolate glazed, strawberry glazed, jelly filled and cinnamon sugar filled with Bavarian cream. Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace has the Bacchronut, a butter-laminated low-sugar brioche dough that is injected with Bavarian cream, dipped in flavored sugar (flavors including cinnamon, rose petal, strawberry and lemon zest), and piped with icing. Bacchronuts are fried in front of the guest at Bacchanal during brunch on weekends.
