What's Going into the Downtown Grand's Commissary?

Come December, the Downtown Grand will open The Commissary and The Commissary by Night, a dual-purpose fast food spot and nightlife attraction. So far, not much has been released about the dining options, but here's the latest on what could be inside the space.

Keep in mind this is all dependent on Fifth Street Gaming still running the joint. The hot rumor on the street is that the Richard Sandoval Group, which runs a bevy of restaurants across the country including Tacos & Tequila at the Luxor, is taking over the operations.

First up, I Love Burgers, the burger joint with locations at Town Square and the Grand Canal Shoppes.

Next, Third Street Tacos, which plans to serve street tacos inspired by urban taco carts.

Short Round's Bao & Dumplings, which borrows its name from the Indiana Jones character, plans to serve up fusion flavors inside bao, potstickers and dumplings.

Coffee and Crepes seems pretty self-explanatory. And the final spot? The Bar at Commissary, with a planned 31 beers on tap and specializing in Nevada brews.

By night, the Commissary After Dark plans to offer up a nightlife venue. In a food court.

So far, the hours plan to be from 6 a.m. to midnight daily with the nightclub taking over every Thursday through Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
