Behold, the Pork & Beans Container Park Menu

Pork & Beans may feature the most high-wattage celebrity names at downtown's Container Park, but for now, they aren't broadcasting that information.

Downtown Cocktail Room owner Michael Cornthwaite and his Future Restaurant Group created the concept with a pun-heavy and sausage focused menu from celebrity chef Kerry Simon. A meat-free option named "Pig-Freed and Roy" sets the tone. The place is run by LA Market head chef and Hell's Kitchen season eight winner Nona Sivley.

Sivley was also hand for the soft open, dressed in chef whites in contrast to her black clad fellow staff wearing porkmelv.com T-shirts, despite that Web address still being under construction on opening day.

There is seating inside and views of visitors entering the park, but most will utilize the seating area outside and on the floor above their former shipping container structure. They share this section of the park with Pinches Tacos.

Sivley and Simon will next branch out to a two-story restaurant and tavern at the under construction John E. Carson Hotel, one block away.
