New Menu Items at Fix; Smith & Wollensky Liquid Lunch

BELLAGIO — Fix Restaurant & Bar now has a new fall menu that includes crispy truffle foccacia, chorizo-stuffed dates and duck and waffles. New cocktails include the Gumdrop, a martini with jumbo gumdrops, Grey Goose L'Orange, Chambord and Limoncello and the Strawberry Aviation, which combines Plymouth Gin, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur and a fresh chocolate strawberry. THE STRIP — Smith & Wollensky now has the Liquid Lunch with craft beer and a three-course prix fixe lunch available for $30 Monday through Friday until 4 p.m. Samuel Adams beer along with split pea soup or soup du jour start the lunch. For an entree, choose one of three braised dishes: lamb shank, beef pie or cracklin pork. Other seasonal dishes include braised beef and morel mushrooms with rosemary pappardelle appetizer; beef tenderloin trio with three filet mignons topped with Cajun seasoning, Gorgonzola crusted and Madeira demi-glace; a double-cut lamb chop; and duck fat roasted root vegetables.
