While the new International Eatery food court is speedily progressing at Neonopolis, the eatery's contents are less authentically global than might be imagined.
As Eater Vegas first revealed, replacing the shuttered Italian restaurant Luna Rossa will be DJ's Taco Bar, stir-fry option China Max and Dino's Little Italy pizza stand. The location is advantageously next to the forthcoming Slotzllia zip-line attraction.
All three newcomers are overseen by HIG Management and the fast food trio currently already operates at the Hawaiian Marketplace across from CityCenter. HIG Management are hoping to upgrade their presence on the Strip when their pan-Asian restaurant F.A.M.E. Night Market and Ultra Lounge opens at The Linq next spring.
Neonopolis has been looking for new fast food tenants for the past year. Flyers hoping to entice prospective businesses are posted at the front entrance, promoting the advantages of leasing space in the complex. However, the current ad still hails recently departed businesses Luna Rossa, Krave Massive and Drink & Drag.
The owners of Luna Rossa are now working on Toscano's, an Italian steakhouse replacing Kelly's Prime Steak & Seafood, which in turn replaced a Ruth's Chris on Paradise Road. Toscano's is pushing for an early 2014 debut.
