Holy spending spree. Montreal-based Allô! Mon Coco plans to bring six of its breakfast fare restaurants to Las Vegas starting with a $7 million version coming to The Linq.
Expect a two-story restaurant with French breakfast food on the lower level and a cabaret bar upstairs with room for 260 inside.
That $7 million price tag is second only to the cost of Brooklyn Bowl's monster-sized 77,000-square-foot bowling alley and restaurant combo project.
Allô! Mon Coco serves up pancakes, flambes, eggs Benedicts, omelets and more. Expect a last spring opening.
An additional five restaurants are planned in Vegas over the next five years. The chain currently has six locations in the Montreal area.
The Linq, home to the $550 million High Roller observation wheel, plans to slowly start opening this month with a mix of restaurants and retail. Chayo Mexican will be the first restaurant to open, with others such as Yard House, F.A.M.E., Flour & Barley, Off the Strip Bistro & Bar, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Tilted Kilt, The Stomping Grape, Haute Doggery and Purple Zebra planned so far.
