STRATOSPHERE — Top of the World Restaurant celebrates 17 consecutive years as a recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence during a special food and wine event on Jan. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. Executive chef Rick Giffen will serve a seven-course tasting menu, in which many courses are paired with selections from Joseph Phelps Vineyards. Special guest Bill Phelps, president of Joseph Phelps Vineyards, will treat guests to an entertaining discussion of wines, sign and personalize wine selections for sale at the event.
