Portions of The Linq, the $550 million entertainment district with 300,000 square feet of retail and the highly anticipated largest observation wheel the High Roller, officially open today, making way for more food and beverage options mid-Strip. Here's a look at what's ready for the public. Anticipate the next round of openings around Feb. 27.

O'Shea's: The locals favorite opens a 5,000-square-foot replica of the original complete with beer pong, 11 gaming tables, three bars and of course Lucky, the mayor of O'Shea's. Access this 24-hour space from inside The Quad or from within The Linq.

Purple Zebra: The frosty drink concoctions here number 30 with 38 novelty drink vessels available. Also on hand in the 4,400-square-foot, $2.1 million space? Candy galore. Look for the purple zebra, named for a daiquiri-drunk character in F. Scott Fitzgerald's Paradise Lost who saw a purple zebra, along with zebra legs poking out from the ceiling.

Chayo Mexicano: Scant actual details have been released about this Mexican restaurant and bar. Here's what we know. This two-story, 14,800-square-foot restaurant has multiple bars with indoor and outdoor seating, private dining rooms and space for 450 patrons. The "upscale casual restaurant" is aiming for a "wildly intoxicating environment," all constructed for $5 million. Expect to find a mechanical bull named Chayo. Ride the bull for 60 seconds and get your picture on the wall.

Haute Doggery: Block 16 Hospitality brings a gourmet hot dog shop to the space closest to the High Roller observation wheel. The 1,000-square-foot space includes options such as the The Gold Standard featuring smoked bacon, aged goat cheddar cheese, tomato confit, baby arugula and garlic-chive aioli; the Billionaire Dog with a grilled Kobe beef frank, foie gras torchon, port onion marmalade and truffle mayo; and the Tijuana Dog, a bacon-wrapped and deep fried frank with grilled onion and jalapeño with mayo.

Starbucks: Also included, a Starbucks, just in case a caffeine injection is needed.
