Yet more pizza is on its way to Las Vegas. Formerly rumored by Eater Vegas, but now confirmed, San Diego-based Social Life Pizza is expanding to the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian. They will be taking over the currently still operating L.A. Italian Kitchen inside the food court, which very conveniently features a pizza oven set-up for their fast-casual Italian cuisine.
The 1,369-square-foot makeover has earmarked $200,000 for construction. Social Life serves Neapolitan-style pizza cooked at 900 degrees featuring Italian Double Zero flour to create a crust "that's crispy with a perfect chew and slight char." The compact menu in San Diego also includes salads, meatballs and desserts like cannoli pizza.
