Seonkyoung Longest has had about two weeks to get accustomed to running her very first restaurant, Jayde Fuzion at the M Resort. The winner of Food Network's Restaurant Express is serving up her interpretation of Japanese, Chinese and Korean small plates at the new digs that take over the former Marinelli's space at the resort.
Here find traditional Asian details with modern touches in greens, pinks and reds. The 22-foot-wide marble stairway at the entrance is flanked by pink- and rose-colored flowers opening into a the very jade green bar and lounge area. Large-scale murals of Koi fish and cherry blossoms decorate the walls of the dining room. Outside, a patio awaits warmer weather dining.
