Last week, our sister site Racked Vegas dropped news about the forthcoming Grand Bazaar Shops taking over the entire 2.6 acres front of the Bally's Las Vegas, and now comes word that the site will host more than 150 stores taking up 55,000 square feet, each store will range between 150 and 300 square feet with a few going as big as 2,000 square feet.
The site allocated 23,000 square feet, or more than a third of the project, for restaurant and bar concepts and food stores. Nine mini-restaurants, similar to an open-air food court, will sit near the Bally's entrance.
Included, five separate shops from chef Sam Marvin, who already has Echo & Rig at Tivoli Village. Expect to find artisanal cupcakes, ice cream, macaroons, meats and spices from the chef.
A fall 2014 opening is penciled in.
