Jenna and Michael Morton are on a tear of sorts. They already have La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway at Wynn Las Vegas and opened La Comida Downtown in the spring. Now meet Crush Eat Drink Love, their newest small plates restaurant and wine bar at the MGM Grand, debuting today.
Executive chef William DeMarco created the menu that includes small plates such as shrimp risotto and a crudo with radish, Champagne grapes and lemon along with large plates of chicken skewers with harissa and hummus, a lamb sirloin with a celery root puree and bacon Brussels sprouts and sea bass with braised kale and tomato chutney.
Inside find a greenhouse room with lighting to emulate the natural sun, a dining cellar with barrel-vault ceilings and a private dining room.
Crush is open daily starting at 5 p.m., closing at 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 11:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
