A mere $2.3 million will make you the boss of your very own 4,000-square-foot Italian restaurant right on the Strip. A real estate listing is touting the venture as featuring a "warm atmosphere" and a "diverse menu" that delights customers with "all the delicacies and flavors of Italy."
You can find out the name of the place only if you are a qualified buyer, but join us in trying to read between the lines.
In addition to the main dining room, you'll receive a bonus patio, located "in the top dining and entertainment area of Las Vegas."
The real estate ad explains the reason for the sell off is the "out of state absentee owner retiring," otherwise they would probably be happy with a "$3,350,000 gross" income and cash flow of "$680,000."
Fixtures and furniture are valued at $2 million and come free with your purchase, as does a less dramatic $25,000 in inventory.
So which Italian restaurant, with so much going for it on paper, wants to close up shop in Las Vegas?
Lombardi's Romagna Mia [Photo: Bradley Martin]
Lombardi's Romagna Mia located in the Miracle Mile Shops at the Planet Hollywood Resort fits the description.
Once again, the initial clues are buried in the sales description. Lombardi's uses the same language, "delicacies and flavors" and "diverse menu," right on their Website home page. Lombardi's debuted in 2000, maintains a patio and press releases describe the atmosphere as "warm."
The Texas-based Lombardi Family Concepts which runs their sole Nevada restaurant, is overseen by Dallas resident Alberto Lombardi who has slowly been ceding control to his daughter, Sarah Lombardi.
Perhaps coincidentally, Lombardi's is located directly next door to Blondies Sports Bar & Grill who Eater Vegas uncovered is also trying to sell their restaurant. Blondies is hoping to find a buyer with $7,490,000 to spare. You do receive a "state of the art TV system!" included in the price.
