The Four Seasons plans a quick turnaround on its $1.3 million indoor/outdoor bar that takes over the lobby. Press plans to open this April.

Engstrom Design Group is creating the design of the space that includes a modern art centerpiece and most importantly for travelers, free WiFi and numerous electrical outlets. Oversized windows and a glass door lead to the patio area with two fire pits that overlook the pool.

Look for Lavazza espressos and Stumptown organic roasted coffees at Press, as well as organic juices and grab-and-go items such as fruit cups and seasonal muffins, warm sticky buns and croissants prepared by pastry chef Jean-Luc Daul. Breakfast and light lunch items also make the menu.

The full bar plans to offer 16 wines by the glass from an Enoteca system, draft beer, hand-crafted, speakeasy cocktails and a featured ice program. A small plate menu will serve up simple, seasonal foods while late-night offerings will include chocolate truffles, ice-cream truck favorites and night cap beverages to end the evening. By night, guests can even dine next to the fire pits.
