The Las Vegas Restaurant Week Website is live, live, live. Already 70 restaurants across Vegas have signed up for the annual tradition of putting together prix fixe meals for prices from $20.13 to $50.13 that benefit Three Square Food Bank, the local food bank that fed 18.8 million meals last year alone. And more seem to be added daily.
Restaurant week kicks off on Friday, March 8, and extends to one additional day on Friday, March 15. The eight-day event features restaurants such as Due Forni with two meals, a lunch for $20.13 and a dinner for $30.13. The Pasta Shop Ristorante & Art Gallery in Henderson has three options, including a four-course dinner for $50.13 with choices such as portofino with fresh shellfish or salmon with mushrooms. Newcomer Poppy Den at Tivoli Village has two options for lunch and dinner, while Rhythm Kitchen Seafood & Steaks offers a blackened catfish over rice or its Crescent City pasta with crawfish, shrimp, scallops, mushrooms and spinach.
Strip restaurants get involved as well. Seafood Shack and Gilley's at Treasure Island get involved for the first time, while old standbys Tao Asian Bistro at the Venetian and Lavo at the Palazzo enhance their year-round Three Square menus with new dishes.
On the Website, restaurants can be sorted by location, cuisine and price point.
Last year marked the first rendition of the spring version of Restaurant Week, which has been going on for seven years here.
