The triumvirate of Starbucks stores coming to CityCenter will be led by a flagship concept, serving formerly limited edition "Special Blends." While construction continues, a towering, treated wood display is in place and serves as a beverage menu with the names of future coffee choices applied to the wood.
Occupying the former Kiton men's fashion boutique, as first revealed by Eater Vegas this Strip-facing store is in the annex of the upscale-mall Crystals and situated two doors down from Pinkberry. The 2,861-square-foot Starbucks has room for 132 and a publicly earmarked budget of $734,000 for construction, a much pricier number than usually allocated for an new addition to the chain.
Coffee choices already affixed to this new sign include Starbucks Tribute Blend, Komodo Dragon Blend, Starbucks Reserve Galápagos, Sumatra, Guatemala Casi Cielo, Holiday Blend, Caffè Verona, Starbucks Reserve Malawi Lake of Stars, Pike Place Blend, Starbucks Veranda Blend and Espresso Roast. The Starbucks Reserve line of coffees have not previously been available in Nevada.
Starbucks' CityCenter expansion continues inside Crystals, with a 3,799-square-foot replacement for The Pods, the shuttered coffee bar from Wolfgang Puck, and inside Aria, another branch is replacing the former Sweet Chill gelato, pastries and sandwiches store. Both are touting a spring bow.
