At last, the 10,000-square-foot, 1,000-capacity live music venue dubbed Fremont Country Club opens its doors for a test run tonight. Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses plan to play for a maximum 300-capacity crowd while the new club works out the kinks, says Fremont Street Bars.

Inside, find Tex-Mex decor with a tinge of swanky chic. Cow skin ceilings, chrome horseshoes and antler chandelier deck out the place.

When owner Carlos "Big Daddy" Adley finally opens the club for good, look for a mix of indie rock acts playing the room.
