Now Heraea Has an Opening Date at the Palms

Now the Palms has a sports bar, restaurant and nightclub all wrapped into one. Heraea, the newest restaurant from The ONE Group, let the masses in for one-day only on Sunday with its Super Bowl bash. Inside the sports bar that is meant to cater to women find two levels of space with private rooms for VIPs up above.

Now Heraea says it plans to open permanently on Feb. 17.

Doug Bell, the former executive chef at StripSteak, helms the restaurant side that serves up a classic take on American food for lunch, brunch and dinner. Look for dishes such as chili cheese fondue, filet mignon and New York strips on the menu.

The decor, created by SEED Design, was inspired by the Heraean Games, the first athletic competition for women in ancient Greece. Inside find tufted round banquettes in chenille, screens of metal and chain and soft lighting. A massive LED television screen sitting at center shows sporting events. Guests can even find poolside seating overlooking the Palms Pool & Bungalows.

Cantor Gaming also partnered with Heraea on sports wagering with a Cantor satellite counter, sports line viewing and mobile gaming. Each table will feature a tablet for sports betting and mobile gaming through a Cantor account.

The restaurant plans to be open Mondays through Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to midnight, Thursdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
