Trend alert. Looks like joints that mix up nightlife atmospheres with food are taking over new restaurants off-Strip. First Nosh & Swig opened with small plates and a great vibe. Then came 21 Restaurant & Lounge with funky LED tables and Asian fusion fare.
Now meet Remiix, a fusion restaurant serving up fare from Steven Lee.
Look for fare from across the country that changes every season. Stuffed baby bell peppers, coconut shrimp, ginger chicken fried dim sum and chicken sauteed pepper sliders are just some of the appetizers. Entrees include seared skin on steelhead salmon, shrimp scampi and grilled chicken miso alfredo Basilica.
The cocktail menu includes the Big Stick made with Absolut peach, Malibu rum, mango and strawberry puree, orange juice and cranberry juice and a series of Remiix cocktails such as the Corona-Rita, Aqua Berry and Sex on the Remiix.
The space features a number of white leather couches set up stadium style for prime views of a big-screen television and hard wood floors.
