Yes, Kerry Simon Will Serve the Food at Sapphire's Pool

Sure, why not? Sapphire, the gentlemen's club, plans to open its $8 million Sapphire Pool & Day Club May 2 with food from Kerry Simon.

The pool sports 11 cabanas, lounge chairs, country club locker rooms and an elevated VIP section with room for 700 guests. Look for two bars and even a merchandise area. The pool party also plans a host of deejays, adult film stars and more.

As for the food, Simon, who has his eponymous restaurant at Palms Place and KGB: Kerry's Gourmet Burgers at Harrah's Las Vegas, expects to serve snacks to full meals Thursdays through Sundays at the Sapphire Grill.

Per a 2001 agreement, Sapphire said it would not to expand its 70,000-square-foot gentlemen's club, so the pool will have no physical connection to the topless club. Sapphire does promise that the ladies taking off their clothes by night will be poolside by day.

Sapphire formerly ran a topless pool at the Rio, but the party was shut down in 2009 after Las Vegas Metro Police Department officers arrested 11 people, including eight women for prostitution-related activities.
