SOUTHEAST — Panevino has a new spring and summer cocktail menu. Mark Lopez, the mixologist and assistant general manager, chose ingredients such as fresh peaches, raspberries and lemon. Look for the Panevino Fuzzy Melba with Ciroc Peach Vodka, Licor 43, fresh peaches raspberries, lemon and Prosecco; A Mexican in France with Herradura Reposado Tequila, Green Chartreuse, homemade grapefruit sweet n'sour, fresh basil and a sea salt, paprika and raw sugar rim; and the Heavy on the Petal with Hendrick's Gin, Lillet Rosé, lemon and homemade rose petal simple syrup among the new drinks, which go for $12. HARD ROCK HOTEL — Mr. Lucky's Café has new dishes to starter menu including grilled cheese sliders, the Giant Stack O' Onion Rings with chipotle mayo and lettuce wraps stuffed with tofu, quinoa, red onion, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, hoisin sauce, mint and grilled chicken. For breakfast, The King features 14 banana pancakes, 14 strips of bacon, peanut butter glaze and maple syrup and the Rehab Omelet includes three egg whites, crispy tofu, green onion, broccoli, tomato and mushrooms with a side of hash browns. Also new, the Breakfast Bloody Mary with Belvedere vodka and spicy tomato topped with jumbo shrimp cocktail, a bacon and fried egg waffle slider, a celery stalk, pickle spear, horseradish and lime served with a beer chaser. BELLAGIO — Hyde Bellagio brings mixologists in to compete in the Guinness Cocktail Competition, which challenges five local mixologists to create recipes using one requisite ingredient: Guinness. The Thursday event starts at 8 p.m., and each contestant will set up stations throughout the venue for guests to sample the creations as they listen to the live music of American Idol contestant Mahi Crabbe. A panel of local beverage experts will judge the entries and award one contender Guinness Cocktail Champion. Entry to the event is free, as are cocktail samples. [EaterWire]
