The Las Vegas Weekly goes out on a limb and ranks the 20 most important restaurants in Las Vegas, an update from a blog post in February, which was removed from the site. Perhaps most interesting, some chefs pipe in with their favorites, including Steve Benjamin at L'Atelier ("Each dish at Raku demonstrates the knowledge and passion chefs have for producing perfection in both flavor and presentation."), Todd Clore from Todd's Unique Dining (Spago "was a real eye-opener for Vegas and one of the restaurants that inspired my transition here.") and JBF nominee and Raku owner Mitsuo Endo ("Bartolotta, because of the inspiration and innovation of [chef Paul Bartolotta's] style in ordering his fish, and so many options to enjoy his collection.").
