The Panda Express train shows no sign of stopping in Las Vegas. The ubiquitous Chinese food chain operates more than 30 stores in the Las Vegas area and has set its sights on Town Square.
It will be taking over a former sporting goods store, The Sports Shop, directly facing chef Carla Pellegrino's The Meatball Spot. The 1,712-square-foot Asian eatery will feature room for 38 guests and add a couple of outdoor tables.
All Panda Express outposts are corporate owned. Since 1983 they have expanded to 1,539 locations.
UPDATE: Marco Carlos, manager of The Sports Shop confirmed the switcheroo to Eater Vegas and explained his store will be moving to a new location within Town Square.
