Go on a Blind Date with Restaurants at Dishcrawl

Here's a fun idea. Instead of going on a pub crawl, how about making it a Dishcrawl?

Coming to Vegas April 10, the new concept takes adventurous diners on a restaurant crawl to four spots in Summerlin to explore signature dishes.

The fun part? None of the restaurants are announced ahead of time, so diners find out two days ahead beforehand where to meet for the first tasting. Think of it as a blind date with a restaurant. Then the remaining restaurants are revealed as the evening progresses.

"Dishcrawl focuses on introducing food lovers not only to restaurants' signature dishes, but also to the chefs and owners behind those dishes," Las Vegas Dishcrawl coordinator Michael Buscio says in an email to Eater Vegas. "We believe that in doing so, we'll help form a stronger bond within the food communities that already play a large role in Las Vegas culture."

The first of what will become a series of monthly Dishcrawls will take place in the Red Rock Resort area on Wednesday, April 10, at 7 p.m.

In the future, Buscio plans to up the number of events. "Within months, I plan on having at least three events a month including a Dishcrawl, and other variations of the event, i.e. pub crawl, whiskey walk, brunch crawl, vegan crawl, etc. I also look forward to hosting private parties and events for companies around town," he says.

Reservations are $45 per person and can be directly purchased on the official Website.
