Planet Hollywood Won't Give Up on Its Daiquiri Bar

First proposed in May 2012, plans for an outdoor daiquiri bar in front of the Planet Hollywood Resort have been suddenly revived. The roughly 400-square-foot space will only be accessible from outside the building and is to be constructed with an estimated budget of $200,000

Located near the north entrance to the casino, close to P. F. Chang's China Bistro, the exterior will feature 5-foot high glass fencing with a swinging door entrance. The interior 80-square-foot bar will be built inside an existing stairwell. Outdoors, the glass patio will be an equally compact 145-square-foot in size with fixed seating and a drinks counter.

In January, Planet Hollywood presented plans to build Pin Up Pizza, a 1,000-square-foot pizza joint with a retro-pin up girl theme, located next to Pink's Hot Dogs. The resort formally placed that concept on hold on Feb. 6.
