Now that St. Patrick's Day is over, Nine Fine Irishmen is fast tracking a $1,600,000 upgrade. The Irish pub's already substantial 40,440-square-foot food, drink and entertainment emporium will undergo 12,210 square feet of upgrades and then add-on a new 1,270-square-foot expanded section of dining and drinking to the New York-New York exterior. Adjacent to the replica Brooklyn Bridge, the new outdoor space will feature its own bar while keeping its current smaller patio look that will be surrounded by an ornamental metal fence.
Guests will be able to view the water feature in front of the resort and face the MGM Grand across the street. The new space will also serve as a useful advertising structure, liberally decorated with new signage promoting the pub.
Inside will also include extensive upgrades to the main room and mezzanine. The new construction will allow access to the pub directly from the Strip, and not just from the casino floor.
