Echelon is no more. Boyd Gaming, which imploded the Stardust to make way for Echelon and then stopped construction with just a skeleton assembled, today sold the 87-acre site to Genting Group, a gaming industry powerhouse out of Malaysia, for $350 million. Dubbed Resorts World, the 175,000-square-foot casino plans to have several luxury dining establishments. [Vegas Inc]
