Two down, one to go. The Starbucks expansion invasion at CityCenter is near complete. Located on the second floor of Aria, the second of three new Starbucks outposts in the complex opened this weekend, serving daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The open plan and plushly appointed caffeine spot replaces the former Sweet Chill gelato, pastries and sandwich joint. Next door at Crystals, the upscale mall is close to debuting the Starbucks replacement for The Pods, Wolfgang Puck's shuttered coffee bar.
The first Starbucks remodel in the area, a flashier concept store featuring limited edition coffee blends, opened in March in the Crystals annex on Las Vegas Boulevard, two doors down from Pinkberry.
A fourth Starbucks continues to operate in the retail avenue connecting the Monte Carlo and Aria.
