It's a long way from its early 2104 opening day, but already construction on the area around the future Double Barrel Roadhouse has begun. Forming a pivotal attraction in the newly announced $100 million overhaul of the Monte Carlo and New York-New York, the 12,000 square foot, indoor-outdoor space is a joint venture between SBE and MGM Resorts. Their previous collaboration was Hyde at the Bellagio.
First revealed by Eater Vegas, Double Barrel Roadhouse will feature live music, "craft cocktails" and beers served at multiple bars in the space and American comfort food served in large portions.
Coining a new phrase for the Strip, SBE notes "approachable bottle service experiences" will be available at Roadhouse tables. The mood is described as interactive, "from custom 'bar rituals' and live performances on the elevated catwalks surrounding the bars, to the venue's lively 'DB girls,' every interaction between Double Barrel and its patrons is focused on creating more energy and more fun."
Designer Mark Zeff, is aiming for a look between "industrial and an old-world rustic barn saloon" working with materials like corrugated iron and "rough–hewn wood ."
