Learn How to Cook Like a Bellagio Chef

Now wannabe chefs can don a chef's coat at get a hands-on lesson during new interactive cooking classes at the Bellagio. An Executive Chef's Culinary Classroom brings a two-hour cooking class with Bellagio executive chef Edmund Wong in the Tuscany Kitchen.

The monthly classes cover topics such as how to create a three-course brunch for Mother's Day, the secrets behind barbecue, how to make an al fresco menu, chicken dinners and more.

Each guest gets a personal cooking station with mise en place, along with a step-by-step demonstration with Wong that covers slicing, seasoning and combining ingredients. The classes, limited to 15, go for $95 each.

How to Thank Mom: Wednesday, April 10?

Bellagio's Memorial Day BBQ Secrets: Wednesday, May 29?
This session takes barbecue fare beyond the traditional hot dogs and hamburgers with tricks of the trade provided by Bellagio chefs.

Backyard Summer Experience: Wednesday, June 26?
This class will feature a menu perfect for bringing an al fresco experience into guests' own backyards.

Winner Winner?Chicken Dinner: Wednesday, Aug. 28?
Chicken can be prepared in many ways and the chefs at Bellagio are experts at creating memorable poultry dishes. After attending this session, participants will be assured that their chicken dinners are always a prized feast.

Fall into Autumn:  Wednesday, Sept. 4?
Chilly fall weather evokes the desire for warm comfort food and bold autumn spices. Guests will learn how to bring out the essence of the season while using the nature's best seasonal indulgences.

Beer, Beer and More Food: Wednesday, Oct. 2
?Beer lovers will rejoice with this Oktoberfest-inspired lesson on pairing beer with fine cuisine.

THANKSgiving: Wednesday, Nov. 6
?Cooking a Thanksgiving dinner can be an intimidating feat. This class will take the fear out of Thanksgiving preparations and guide participants to happy holiday dining.
