Ben & Jerry's Hands Out Free Cones with Strip Celebs

Ben & Jerry's has been marking a day in April to hand out free small cones for charity for the past 35 years. But in Vegas, those free cones come with some panache. From noon to 8 p.m, celebrities from the Las Vegas Strip plan to dole out free small cones at the District at Green Valley Ranch. The event benefits St. Jude's Ranch for Children.

At noon, look for illusionist Jan Rouven. Musician Sam Riddle takes over the scoop at 12:30 p.m. The cast of X Burlesque helps out the cause at 1 p.m., followed by the cast of Chippendales at 2 p.m. BMX pro Ricardo Laguna joined by the Revolver Girls works the counter at 4 p.m., while former Playboy Playmate Claire Sinclair works the scoop at 4 p.m. Tracey and Mariah from Fantasy take over at 5 p.m., followed by magician Mac King at 6 p.m. and Jeff Civillico at 6:30 p.m.

A deejay, face painting and balloon artists will be on hand from 1 to 4 p.m. while GAMES2U, a mobile unit featuring a variety of interactive games, stops by from 2 to 4 p.m.

Ben & Jerry's will also have free small cones at Sunset Station. [EaterWire]
