The sixth Las Vegas Smashburger will become the new neighbor to fellow chains Cafe Zupas and a Pin Kaow Thai restaurant in the Silverado Park Place strip mall in Henderson.
The 2,206-square-foot space will have room for 96 and be outfitted with a new company-wide store design. Their distinctive name derives from smashing a ball of ground beef onto a 400-degree grill. Among the nation's largest 200 chain restaurants, Smashburger was recently rated the second fastest growing company. They currently operate 193 restaurants globally.
Locally, online voters said they preferred Holsteins Shakes and Buns in a head to head round of the Vegas Burger Blog's Burger Tournament. The close contest was ultimately won by DW Bistro's New Mexican-style green chili cheeseburger .
