Carmine's makes its debut in Vegas this July, taking over the former Planet Hollywood space at the Forum Shops at Caesars. The two-level, 27,000-square-foot space plans to feature 700-plus seats and more than 250 employees.

Part of the construction includes making the space a little greener. The restaurant, which serves up fare typically found at an Italian wedding, replaced more than 18 old air conditioning units with 12 high efficiency units. These new units meet the Energy Policy Act and will keep diners cool while being eco-friendly. These new units have a significantly smaller carbon footprint and use 30 percent less energy than the previous air conditioning units, which were more than 20 years old.
