The once citywide Hamada of Japan chain has lost another link. The Japanese restaurant quietly closed its Flamingo location last month, leaving their sole operation inside the Flamingo Las Vegas.
The Hamada brand began in 1987 at a location close to their recently shuttered flagship. Their locales provided multiple dining options such as a tatami room, teppan grill or sushi bar. Created by Jay Hamada, the chain has held locations at the Rio, Stratosphere, MGM Grand and Luxor.
