The Starbucks Takeover of CityCenter Continues

The Starbucks expansion at CityCenter has created a new saturation point. Vdara, the last property devoid of the chain's fingerprints, will host their next coffee outpost.

As first reported by Eater Vegas, Vdara's only restaurant, the long shuttered Silk Road, will be turned into an "inspired meeting place." Part of that space will also become a Starbucks. Curiously, this location is less than 20 feet and directly facing, Market Café Vdara the hotel's upmarket "grab-and-go" coffee shop.

Starbucks opened a concept store on the Strip facing Crystals annex earlier this year. Another store operates inside Crystals itself and a third is housed on the second floor of Aria. Within walking distance yet another can be found within the retail avenue leading from Aria to the Monte Carlo.
