Now McFadden's Restaurant & Saloon says July 18 it will swing open the doors at its new location at Town Square. The Irish-themed restaurant that was located at the Rio takes over the former Ranch House Kitchen space near the AMC Town Square 18 cinemas.
Expect to find Irish-American fare, dozens of draft and bottled beers, 80-ounce fishbowl cocktails, a "bomb" shots menu and Fireball Cinnamon Whisky on tap. Irish draft beers such as Guinness, Harp Lager and Magners Irish Cider will definitely be on tap.
Some of the specialty dishes will include a Pickle Back Burger with a Jameson Irish Whiskey-glazed beef patty topped with Applewood smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese and fried pickles and the Lasagna Bun Burger, a meatball-seasoned burger topped with provolone and house-made marinara and held together with two thick slices of deep-fried mozzarella and ricotta lasagna.
Some of the classic Irish dishes include Dublin Rolls with pulled corned beef, braised cabbage and vegetables wrapped in egg roll skins and served with Guinness mustard dipping sauce.
McFadden's spends five days celebrating St. Patrick's Day every year and gets a head start on the holiday with "Halfway to St. Patrick's Day" every September.
The 12,500-square-foot restaurant features an additional 6,000-square-foot patio replete with fire pits. Guests are encouraged to let loose on the mahogany bar with shots and table dancing. Those who are swayed by an elevated experience can sit in the VIP seating with bottle service.
