Rumors are flying about a new sushi restaurant planning to come to the Shoppes at the Palazzo. Insiders says that Sake no Hana, the Japanese arm of the Hakkasan empire, has eyes for the space across from Grimaldi's Pizzeria in the shopping center, mere steps away from SushiSamba.
The restaurant already has locations in the Mayfair neighborhood in London and Dubai. Speculation says the success of the recently opened Hakkasan at the MGM Grand — which combines a restaurant and nightclub, a first for the brand — is fueling the desire to bring the Japanese version stateside.
The restaurant offers up Toban and Kamameshi dishes as well as sushi and sashimi, sakes and Japanese whiskeys.
Naturally, the tipline is open for more details.
