The Casual Invasion Infiltrates Michael Mina's StripSteak

Apparently Pub 1842 isn't the only new thing on Michael Mina's agenda. Now comes word that Gerald Chin, the former chef de cuisine at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, took over the kitchen at Mina's StripSteak at Mandalay Bay.

Las Vegas Weekly reports on some of the changes already happening at the restaurant, including Chin's own rendition of the burger he made at Bradley Ogden, only he uses A5 Kobe, American Wagyu, Angus beef, skirt steak and strip steak. He also added a Japanese Wagyu beef satay and plans to bring sharable plates to the menu.

Also of note: Diners can wear shorts and a T-shirt. Sigh. So much for fine dining.
