Ready to Welcome Fatburger's Las Vegas Slushie Bar?

First the Fatburger chain arrived on the Strip. Then they added the 24-hour Fatbar extension. Now, slushies are next on the agenda.

Work is finishing up on a 141-square-foot alcoholic frozen drink counter, serving burger fans right on the Strip. To make sure you notice, a permit application has been filed to add five animated signs, one on each side and one on the roof, all featuring "light modules" designed to flash, change color and illuminate in patterns.

Their pièce de résistance is the roof-mounted, 18-square-foot revolving, animated replica of the iconic "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign." With the same diamond shape and bulb lighting, you'll be able to snap souvenir photos next to the "Welcome to Fatburger's Las Vegas Slushie Bar" marquee. The bar is scheduled for a July opening, while the signage awaits zoning approval.
