Storm the Bastille this Sunday as the French celebrate Bastille Day, the mark of the end of monarchy rule in France and the beginning of democracy. French restaurants celebrate the holiday in their own way with pastry classes, skydivers, contests and cocktails. Here, four ways to eat and drink your way through Bastille Day in Las Vegas.

The Details: Chef Josh Crain is cooking up skirt steak with caramelized shallots, tarte flambé, ham and cheese crepes and nectarine galette from 3 to 9 p.m., along with drink and raw bar specials. The day kicks off with a baking class by pastry chef Scott Wheatfill, who will guide guests through at-home techniques for making macarons and bouchons.

2. Mimi's Cafe

The Details: Mimi's Cafe celebrates its 35th Anniversary and French heritage on Bastille Day with a Heritage Menu featuring several classic dishes available at their original 1978 pricing. Look for a bowl of French onion soup for $2.25, pain perdu for $4.25, muffins for $.45, a French dip sandwich for $4.10 and eggs Benedict for $3.95. Guests who visit will also have the opportunity to win prizes such as $10,000 in cash, a trip for two to Napa Valley and more with the Merci for Mimi's promotion.
3. Comme Ca

The Details: Comme Ca plans to serve potted duck rillettes with hibiscus, chicharon and fresh summer greens for $14; and grilled leg of lamb Provencal with piperade and a lavender thyme jus for $36. Four new cocktails for the day include the Pêche de Triomphe with Bastille whisky, lemon wedges, brown sugar cube and Fee peach bitters; Viva Las Julep with Bastille whisky, brown sugar cubes, dashes of Fee rhubarb bitters and Fee plum bitters and finished with mint leaves; Honey Dawg with Bastille whisky, brown sugar cube, Fee whiskey barrel aged bitters, chocolate bitters and crushed sugar cube; and Liberté, Egalité: Bastille whisky, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, Peter Heering cherry liquor and luxardo brandied cherries.

4. Marché Bacchus French Bistro & Wine Shop

The Details: Marché Bacchus French Bistro and Wine Shop is celebrating Bastille Day with a lakeside performance by Vegas Extreme Skydiving accompanied by a team of Navy Seals. Marché Bacchus owner Jeff Wyatt will saber champagne bottles on the terrace as a celebratory red, white and blue balloon releases. Singer Nieve Malandra will perform. Executive chef Dave Middleton is offering oysters rockefeller, beef bourguignon, sole almandine, chicken fricassee, duck confit lyonnaisse salad, torchon of foie gras, steak tartare and the Australian winter truffles from 5 to 9:30 p.m.
