Take a Walk Around the Remodeled Gold Spike

The Gold Spike recently underwent a renovation that removed all the slot machines and replaced them with a game zone filled with pool tables, bean bag tosses, darts, shuffleboard and more. The Downtown Project took over the space and did a quick changeover, replacing carpet, touching up the paint and countertops and more. A massive bed filled with pillows overlooks the new games. The Gold Spike Grill is now bright and white while the bar has bright orange barstools. And in what's dubbed The Backyard, an Airstream trailer is the centerpiece of an Astroturf zone of more games and cozy seating areas. Take a wander inside.
