That didn't last long. Blue Water Restaurant & Sports Bar, the Caribbean tapas restaurant that just opened in January, is now, you guessed it, closed.
Fear not, Henderson. You're about to get a taste of the Strip.
Twin Peaks, the chestaurant chain out of Dallas that already has a location in Harmon Corner, already plans to take over the tainted space. Expect a lodge-like setting decked out in a taxidermist's dream. The beer here is kept at a chilly 29 degrees with a thermometer at the bar to prove it.
On the menu, man-sized comfort foods such as slow-roasted rib eye pot roast, chicken fried steak that measures 8 inches by 14 inches and grilled meatloaf. Mounds of cheesy chili mac and barbecue pulled pork nachos also make the menu, which features less than 30 items.
Back in March, Twin Peaks said it had plans to open additional Vegas locations in Summerlin and Henderson.
